Patricia Allard – RDR
As a professional communicator, with over 20 years’ experience, in aiding QTBIPOC individuals and communities to advance their needs and values before the United Nations, government agencies, in workplaces and in intimate relations, I have come to value the process of helping people ground themselves and refine their communication skills to attain an agreeable outcome in their everyday differences.
When doing a three-month check-in with a client, there is nothing more gratifying than to learn that not only is the client’s relationship thriving, but that they have also registered for mediation training.
Developing mindfulness communication has been an invigorating journey of learning and teaching:
Technique – LLB, LLM, dispute resolution trainings
Hands-on – negotiator, facilitator, mediator
Experiential – yoga, mindfulness practice
As I work with clients, I thrive in offering well-developed and accessible technical communication skills, while helping them explore experiential grounding practices that ease their communication experience.
I know from professional and personal experience that honing my communication technique enveloped in a grounded joyful spirit before engaging in challenging conversations has helped me attain my goals.
I am affiliated with the following professional groups:
- Law Society of Upper Canada
- St. Stephen’s Conflict Resolution & Training
